Tim & Virgie Farley

Tim and Virgie Farley, graduates of San Diego Christian College (Christian Heritage College), are currently in their second term of service in the country of Peru with ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism). Their daughter Hannah returned to Peru with them and is being home schooled through her high school years. Their son Jason is attending San Diego Christian College majoring in secondary education with an emphasis in History. The Farleys have been involved in evangelism and discipleship to mountain Indian people groups. This ministry is designed to reach various locations with an airplane which ABWE has in the area. Due to obstacles in the aviation realm, ministry trips are being taken by land; however, interaction with the Peruvian government to re-approve the airplane ministry continues. Tim is involved in making land trips to teach and train national leaders in the mountains, surveying new areas in the mountains for future ministry, keeping the airplane mechanically sound, and working on paperwork to meet the government requirements. Virgie is involved in several areas of women’s ministries including volunteering at the crisis pregnancy center, teaching ladies Bible studies, planning ladies camps/retreats, and counseling. Hannah is involved in leading many children’s programs and volunteering at the crisis pregnancy center. The Farleys are also involved in Chiclayo, their coastal city of residence, to teach, train, and mentor national leaders in various aspects of church growth, as well as working to establish a new church work among the business class.

Please pray for the Farleys as they take trips to the mountains by land; teach, train, and encourage leaders both in the mountains and in Chiclayo; counsel at the crisis pregnancy center; and lead the business group Bible study.
