Join us as we embark on an epic journey at Summer Blast 2024: Kingdom Quest! This year, we travel back to medieval times in a fictional world divided between two kingdoms.
Our story follows a brave young traveler named William who decides to leave the Gloomy Kingdom ruled by the evil Lord Snare in search of a new life in the Luminous Kingdom to the North, ruled by the one and only true King.
Through many obstacles, snares, bad advice, and even an encounter with a dragon, William and his cousin Mabel journey on their quest, learning important truths along the way.
Will they conquer the perils and reach the realm of the Good King? Come find out in this 5-day epic adventure this summer, only at Shadow Mountain Community Church!

Below are some things you can do to help make this a smooth experience for both you and your child:
- Check-In begins daily at 8 am and rooms open for Drop-Off at 8:30 am.
- Check-In will close daily at 10 am. Due to programming, campers will not be received after 10am.
- Please show up 5-10 minutes early for Check-In and arrive at 12:15 pm for Check-Out.
- We ask that you take your child to the restroom before Drop-Off.
- Campers MUST wear their Summer Blast t-shirts every day. This helps us identify our groups, as there are a lot of them! They will receive their t-shirts the first day in their classrooms.
Please arrive at 12:15 pm for Check-Out.
In order to check your child out of his/her classroom each day, you will need to present your Security sticker to a team member before exiting their assigned group.
You will receive a new sticker each morning when you check-in. We advise you to take a picture of your Security tag with your phone, that way if you lose the sticker or someone else comes to pick up your child, you will have it saved.
Closed-toe shoes & pants/shorts that can get dirty are required for ALL participants each day.

Apply plenty of sunscreen!
NO need to pack snack…we will provide that and plenty of water each day!
If your child has food allergies, he/she will get a yellow wristband each morning at Check-In. Make sure to ask for one daily.
With food allergies, we strongly recommend you provide an alternative snack for them. Please give a Zip Locked snack (with your child’s name) to the child’s leader in their classroom.
All Epi-pens must be given directly to the group leader in the classroom. The leader will carry it with them throughout the day and administer, along with first aide/nurse, if necessary.
If you are a Volunteer, your child will receive a “VIP” wristband each day at check-in.
Along with dedicated Volunteers, we have Security stationed all over campus to ensure your child’s safety.
